The wise-men worshiped Jesus in the house where they found him. The prophetess Anna and Simeon worshiped in the temple. The shepherds’ hearts were filled with praise as they hurried to find the child and then shared the good news with others. The place of worship was different for all of them but their hearts were overflowing with praise and adoration. Do we take the time to worship the Lord during this Christmas season ? This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Zechariah 7:9 Karrion was five days old, and she was dying. She was born in the south of Sudan as her mother tried to return home from the violence in the north. Though starving, Karrion refused her mother's breast and curled against her to die. One look at Karrion's tiny face and a decision was made-we could not lose this one. We made it in time, thank the Lord! This time the story had a happy ending, but for thousands of others in violent, anti-Christian Sudan, the ending is not as joyous. Countless will starve to death unless the Church takes to heart its God-ordained role to be a source of help to a dying world.
